Disability Theology
Disability Theology is an area of growing interest for me personally, pastorally, and academically. I am privileged to be a member of a small study group in the Diocese of Niagara which has contributed to the beginnings of a conversation concerning what this area of theological inquiry has to say to our diocese, parishes, national church and ecumenical partners.
Diocese of Niagara
I attended two conferences on disability theology in the 2024. The first was the Deep and Wide conferences hosted at McMaster Divinity College. The second was the annual conference of the Institute for Disability Theology held at Boston College. My attendance at the conference in Boston was supported by a Leadership Grant from the Diocese of Niagara. This paper is a learning journal from attending these conferences and was prepared for a study group sponsored by Bishop Susan Bell.

The Power of the Spirit—A Pentecost Message
Sunday, June 8, 2025: The Day of Pentecost
Text: Acts 2, et al.
Today we celebrate a life-changing moment that gave birth to the church—a new beginning.
Let us be clear: this isn’t just a story from long ago, a piece of ancient history. This day comes to us as an invitation to experience that same power and presence today. Because the truth is, love, healing, courage, and hope are available to us through the Spirit, if we open our hearts and lives to receive it. And how much we need these gifts in our lives and in our church at this time!

Missional Church
The Niagara Anglican
In this short article I address questions about the word 'missional,' a word we hear a lot in our church today. I argue that "this talk about being missional is more than a fad, but a genuine renewal across the church. I hope and trust that our continuing reflection on the nature of God, and how that informs the nature of the church, is not something that will go out of style."
Doctoral Thesis
I completed a Doctor of Ministry degree at Luther Seminary in Saint Paul, Minnesota, specializing in Congregational Mission and Leadership. The doctoral thesis was supervised by Craig Van Gelder.
